"One of our areas longest operating and most trusted antiques dealers told me not to take my items anywhere else but here. I took 2 pieces in for restoration two weeks ago; a newly purchased antique secretary with hutch & glass doors and my great grandmother's sideboard. The secretary was in worse shape than we initially thought when purchased. There were pieces missing, parts cut off, clogged up lock holes, newsprint glued to the inside back of the cabinets with wallpaper paste (seriously), etc. Tad found more issues as he kept restoring and made sure he fixed everyone of them to his high standards. Now it's gorgeous and good to go for another 100+ years.
Great grandma's sideboard has been in my bedroom, no matter where I've lived, for 62 years. It's housed stuffed animals, clothes, linens & silver, as life has evolved, and gets brought out of the bedroom on holidays to serve as a buffet. The top had seen one too many hot dishes and flower pots, not properly protected, resulting in horrible markings. The stain color was a hideous almost black color, the drawers had missing dividers and old worn out felt, and plenty of scratches everywhere. It was still a cool piece but had been showing its age for way too many years. The end result today is that it looks like it just came out of the craftsman's shop who built it. Perfection! Much lighter stain, completely rejuvenated top and insides, new drawer dividers, new felt, cleaned up hardware... And the wood grain is glowing! I'll be proud to pass this on to our family's next generation. Yesterday & Today is not the least expensive restoration shop...it is THE BEST. Your heirlooms have served your family well over the years and they deserve to have new life and be preserved to carry on that history from the hands of someone you can trust. Three more pieces going in next month!"

"A 100 year old oak chair belonging to a set of four was broken and unsafe to use. The expert repair and refinishing were perfect. What an excellent Job! "

"They did a great job restoring my 1920's table set. The cost was reasonable and they where quick for the size of job it was."

"My wife brought by grandfathers 1936 Philco radio to the store to see if it could be refinished as it was stored in a storage unit that flooded and the wood veneer started peeling in addition to the varnish fading and peeling. To be honest it was rough and I thought it wasn't savable for any reasonable amount of money. Tad was a little taken back by the condition and was concerned that he may not be able to bring it back (likely to his standards). We spoke for a while and we came to agreement that I didn't expect it to be show room condition, that it was a family heirloom and to take his best shot. He had to strip it, patch in veneer, replace wood at the base, glue the peeling veneer down, fill, sand and stain. Tad said it would take about three weeks. He was done ahead of schedule. Tad was super excited when he called my wife to let her know it was ready. It turned out great, far exceeding my expectations to bring back to life this old gem. I'll try to post some pics of before and after. Don't let the rustic decor fool you. This a great small business who pride themselves on being fair, honesty and great customer service. We now plan on bringing in an antique chair where an arm had cracked and became loose to be repaired."

"I have been coming to this antique store for years. This place is awesome. It is an antique furniture store that specializes in finding treasures, and if needed, fixing them up. The furniture is beautifully restored and as often as possible all the original hardware and glass is used. The owner is really friendly and does all the work himself. He has good, competitive prices and is often willing to make a deal. I have bought several pieces from him over the years, but mostly spend my time "window" shopping in his lovely store. My family has also had items refinished and they always turn out better than expected."
